A First Kiss

In that instant,
The special moment,
So many things happen.
It's something so different;
His lips gently touching mine.
For that moment,
A second for eternity,
The whole world stops
Just for me.
I'm on a cloud
In this wonderful
And perfect moment.
Then it stops,
But actually keeps on going.
Even though it's over;
The world goes on,
As if it didn't notice.
But I'll remember it:
For the rest of my life.
